Alone

Alone i feel
In a crowd of peers
A generation that has fallen from the thrown
There eyes judge the world
And their tongs sharp as butcher blades
They know no control
In ignorance or knowledge
They let loose word more damaging then a gun a blade
Which is were the victims seek refuge
The victims who have passed exhaustion
Who have lost their will lost themselves
In a era were there is no escape from eyes of a fallen generation
Only the extraordinary pass through unscathed
The rest have the marks to show a struggle for life
So alone i nurse my cuts and bruises waiting for then next to appear

Fear of light

The chill of dark
A despair that threatens to consume
A night darker then a blind mans sight
in this world i wonder
In this world i know how to survive to fight and live
In a world of warmth
Emotion that consumes
Light that shows the world
In this world i cower
In this world it brings me fear the unknown and volunrability
Thus i shun the hand
The hand which reaches to bring me
Bring me to a world i fear

Silence

My heart it beats

In the longing silence

My voice it rises

It yells to clear the silence

To whisk it away

To allow the slightest emotion through

But as I sit alone

Waiting for someone to hear my voice

To break the silence

To see my emotions

The silence it engulfs the sound

Whisking it away

To places unheard

Sending it to be lost in time

Sex of today's society

Sex is a beautiful thing between a husband and wife, a man and women, to create life. But the way we use it now is disgusting. It should be saved for marriage when you’re ready. There used to be laws that prohibited sex before marriage.  It shows you just how far we have come. Now days we sleep around like it is nothing. Teens are getting pregnant left and right unprepared for the responsibility that is thrust on them. It doesn’t just cause problems for teens. Sex is also a problematic situation that affects every one of every age. Early age sex is a leading cause of divorce. Having had sex with different people you know what it is like which can lead you to being bored with your partner.

So many people seek out this little pleasure of life forsaking the pleasure and happiness that could have been theirs. You cannot receive the greatest things in life without first giving up sacrifices that strain at you. For just waiting for the right time, place, and person you would be able to have a world of happiness. Sex destroys so much in our world with its temptation, with its feeling. Families go up in smoke, same with careers, reputations, and even people’s lives are taken because of sex. Innocent children are ripped from there families they are brought into a world that isn’t ready to take care of them only because people don’t have the mentality and decency to wait for the right to come along.

To me, sex is one of the most sacred things that we possess in this world. It is more sacred then a glass of water to a man dying of thirst. I may be wrong to say this, but I put it up on a pedestal that stands next to god. Sex is a thing that gives life, it creates the most beautiful and pure creatures that can’t be created any other way. But as it is a beautiful and pure thing used the wrong way, it becomes the most twisted and blacker then black evil that threatens our existence. Sex has destroyed so many things that we have held dear in our lives, it has the power to destroy entire nations. Do you think the prince of Troy wanted Helena because she was intelligent or witty?  No, it says in the history books it was because she was the most beautiful women that lived.  Tales of her beauty were abundant in the land.

Sex is also a very emotional and very physical thing. Physical emotion is the most true and pure thing that we as a species can use to communicate. A hug, a kiss, a stroke of the hair is all very emotional as well as a fist to the face or a knee to the groin. This is why I have grown to be very awkward in our society that is such a physical one.  I do not show my emotions to just anyone, it requires a great deal for me to express even a trickle of true emotion. So when I think of people having sex willy-nilly, I wonder how they can do it, how they can share their emotions with complete strangers. Sex is the ultimate physical and emotional contact one can have with another human. You should only be able to show this raw emotion and give yourself completely to another that you trust and feel comfortable with. Don’t waste it with a random person that you have never met. Also don’t waste it with a relationship that you don’t truly know is going to last. Wait for your marriage; wait for the one you know truly gets you, who truly understands you for all you are.
